This is always one of our most popular tours so we are proud to offer it again this year. The beautiful city of Durham is famous for its historic Norman Castle and Cathedral, but it is also a contemporary city with modern galleries, good museums, scenic riverside walks and a lively programme of cultural events. This tour offers a taste of some of the best visitor attractions in the area including Beamish and the Bowes Museum, a French style chateau, famous for its collection of European decorative arts.
