We are delighted to be returning to Bruges and its traditional Christmas Market during the run up to Christmas. Bruges is famous for its wealth of magnificent buildings, network of canals, charming alley-ways and secluded squares. It is also the perfect place for Christmas shopping with chocolates, beautiful lace and traditional Belgian produce on sale at the Christmas Market. There are also numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and museums to cater for all tastes.
Your Hotel
Hotel Le Bois De Bruges is located in the heart of the historic city on the ’tZand square and is within easy walking distance of the attractions, shops, restaurants and bars. The comfortable and modern bedrooms are each equipped with air-conditioning, TV, hairdryer, safe, Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities. The restaurant is bright and inviting thanks to its large windows and there is a lobby bar where guests can relax with a drink. There is also an outdoor terrace area. The hotel has a lift and some bedrooms have walk-in showers (on request only).
Itinerary
Friday: We travel to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais before continuing our journey to Bruges and our hotel where we stay for three nights with bed and hot/cold buffet breakfast.
Saturday: A day to enjoy the Christmas market and unique atmosphere of medieval Bruges.
Sunday: At leisure in Bruges, perhaps take a horse drawn carriage ride, visit a museum or relax on a scenic canal cruise.
Monday: After breakfast we head for Calais, and the ferry crossing to Dover, before travelling back to Derbyshire.
