Hilton St Anne’s Manor Hotel

Following good feedback from last year, we are repeating this interesting tour, which includes visits to four unique glasshouses and gardens, where we enjoy guided tours at each location. We begin with a visit to Kew Gardens and the famous Palm House, which was constructed in 1844 and is one of the world’s most notable Victorian glass and iron buildings. We also travel to RHS Wisley where the cathedral-style glasshouse covers an area equal to ten tennis courts and visit Savill Gardens located in Windsor Great Park. Our final visit is to Waddesdon Manor, a French Renaissance style chateau with a famous collection of fine art, where we enjoy a guided garden tour and have free time to discover the house.

Friday: Travel to London arriving at Kew Gardens in time for our afternoon guided tour. There should be some free time to enjoy the gardens before we continue on to the hotel.
Saturday: We begin the day with a visit to RHS Wisley where we have a morning guided tour followed by free time. Later we head to Windsor and the Savill Garden which includes one of the finest woodland gardens in the country. Again there will be a guided tour and free time to explore.
Sunday: We leave the hotel and travel to Waddesdon Manor for our last guided garden tour, after which there will be time to discover the magnificent house and relax in the gardens before we return to Derbyshire.
