Known as the favourite palace of Henry VIII, Hampton Court is a statement of Tudor power and magnificence, surrounded by beautiful gardens with famous features including the Maze and Great Vine. We include a guided tour which reveals the history of this great palace which has played a significant role in the lives of our monarchy and nation’s history, followed by free time to enjoy the palace and grounds. BBC Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace needs little introduction, fast becoming a major event with exciting arena shows, countryside activities and numerous exhibitors showcasing food, crafts and luxury products.
The Countryfile presenters will all be attending and there will be plenty of opportunities for taking part in hands-on activities.
Friday: Travel to London in time for our afternoon visit to Hampton Court Palace, where we have a guided tour and free time to explore the Palace and Grounds. Continue on to St Anne’s Manor for our overnight stay.
Saturday: After breakfast we set off for Blenheim Palace and the BBC Countryfile Live Show. Later in the afternoon, we begin the journey back home.
The Hilton St Anne’s Manor Hotel is located close to Reading with easy access to London. The hotel has leisure facilities and a lift serves all floors. The en-suite bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
