Concert to commemorate VE Day 75 Years at the Royal Albert Hall
On Friday 8th May 2020*, exactly 75 years to the day, the Royal Albert Hall will host a special concert of commemoration and celebration to mark ‘Victory in Europe’ Day, one of history’s most significant dates.
Join us for an inspiring evening featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra plus very special guests. VE Day 75 will be a concert of epic, stirring and emotional music from some of the greatest British composers – from Elgar’s Nimrod to Walton’s Spitfire Prelude & Fugue; from Holst’s Planet suite to Ron Goodwin’s Battle of Britain theme.
We are holding good seats in the stalls – rows G-O. However, we can only hold these tickets for a limited amount of time so a quick response is essential if you are interested in joining us on this special occasion.
You will be taken to and from the venue and back to your hotel Hilton London Kensington. On Saturday morning, after breakfast, you will have free time in London until 3pm when we return to Derbyshire.
*Please note that the May day bank holiday in 2020 has been moved from Monday 4th May to Friday 8th May.
