Enjoy the spectacular scenery and heritage of Anglesey with a fully guided, circular tour of the island, including RAF Valley where Prince William was based, beautiful Treaddur Bay and historic Beaumaris. Then take an excursion into Snowdonia National Park and the village of Llanberis, where we enjoy a narrow gauge steam train journey on the Llanberis Lake Railway. There will also be a chance to explore Caernarfon
with its impressive castle, walled town and picturesque harbour and promenade.
Monday: Travel to Caernarfon for a four night stay at the Celtic Royal Hotel.
Tuesday: Our guide will join the coach for a full day excursion to the beautiful Island of Anglesey. There will be photo opportunities and various stops along the way as we enjoy the scenery and culture of this delightful island.
Wednesday: After breakfast, we travel into the Snowdonia National Park as we head for Llanberis, where we take an afternoon journey on the Llanberis Lake Railway, surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery.
Thursday: A free day to discover Caernarfon, perhaps visit the famous castle built by Edward I as a Royal Palace and military stronghold, or stroll around the interesting harbour and old walled town. Alternatively, you may wish to enjoy the leisure facilities at the hotel.
Friday: It is time to return home with a stop for lunch en route.
